The Biricu concession, comprising more than 38,000 hectares 100% controlled by Esperanza, is the direct on-strike extension of five skarn deposits (El Limon-Los Guajes, Ana Paula, Bermejal, Los Filos and Nukay) that contain more than 15 million ounces gold. The first two deposits are in current production, and the fourth and fifth are entering feasibility studies. This is extremely prospectable ground. In 2011, Esperanza plans detailed mapping and sampling of the claim block. The poor exposure in portions of the area suggests that geophysics will also play a role in our evaluation of this property.
