Peru Exploration
In 2008 Esperanza began a New Prospect Generation program carried out by our team of Peruvian and US-based geologists. The initial targeting used Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to integrate and evaluate satellite imagery, geology, geochemistry, land status, mine and prospect information. Areas identified with favorable characteristics were prioritized for reconnaissance field visits and subsequent claim staking as appropriate. Esperanza now holds 16,850 hectares (65 square miles) of mineral concessions on ten precious metal projects. In 2012 the Company will focus on advancing these properties through first phase of drilling while continuing to generate new prospects. |
